Modern Grandeur at Mar Hall: A Vera Wang Bride Showcase

ree

When the stars align—vision, venue, and Vera—you get something truly unforgettable.

Our latest styled shoot at the iconic Mar Hall was a full-blown love letter to luxury, fashion, and statement bridal style.

At the heart of it all? A dramatic, voluminous tulle gown from Vera Wang Bride, curated by and exclusively available at Unbridaled. The kind of gown that doesn’t whisper, but commands attention. From the sweeping gathered train to the architectural satin bodice, every inch of it said “main character energy”—and rightly so.

Set within the opulent walls of Mar Hall, a 19th-century Edwardian mansion nestled on a 240-acre estate overlooking the River Clyde, the shoot unfolded in cinematic style. With its rich history as a former baronial home and its recent top-to-toe refurbishment restoring it to modern luxury standards, Mar Hall provided the ultimate backdrop for this high-fashion moment.

I poured everything into creating this shoot—it honestly felt like planning my own wedding... with one small difference: I swapped myself for a 6ft model as the bride. (Turns out, body doubles are the way forward when you want that level of drama.)

Captured with finesse by Lena Sabala Photography, the photography radiates moody elegance with a timeless edge. Weddings by Aquarius documented the day in content creation magic, while AMMAZing Team delivered soft-glam hair and makeup that elevated the look even further.

A dream team of creatives brought the vision to life:

💍 Earrings: Delicate bridal accent pieces by Gemini Clay Studio

🍰 Cake: Tiered and tasty by Snowdrop Wedding Cakes

📜 Stationery: Elegant design and tactile details from Braw Stationery

🎉 Confetti: Bio-degradable + bright by Your Confetti

🧵 Kilt: Traditional Scottish tailoring by MacGregor and MacDuff

👰 Models: The endlessly photogenic Olexlon and Anna Eeress

This wasn’t just a styled shoot—it was a full-scale production of elegance, drama, and bridal artistry. And we’re just a little bit obsessed with how it turned out.

Fun facts - the florist had to pull out last minute due to being seriously unwell, so I was running around sainsbury's buying whatever pink flowers I could find! And those pink bridal shoes? Cheeky Shein bargain! Shhh, no one will ever know.

The BIGGEST thanks to all my fellow wedding industry peers for helping pull this together, your enthusiasm and professionalism shone through and future brides would be lucky to have you on the day!
