Location: West Kilbride

Vibe: Polished, occasion-dressing energy. The kind of boutique that takes the whole experience very seriously — in a good way.

Price Range: £1800-£4000, except Berta which are £5000-£8000 ish.

Designers: Maggie Sottero, Pronovias, Woná Concept, plus exclusive Berta and their own Studio collection.

Appointment Style: Private fitting rooms; salon may have multiple appointments running depending on day of the week. Complimentary Prosecco, soft drinks and cupcakes are part of the experience.

Best for: Brides who want a well-established, full-service boutique experience with a wide range of internationally known labels — particularly those drawn to Berta or Wona — and who want the security of an in-house alterations team.

Melle Cloche

Location: Glasgow

Vibe: Independent, individuality-led, fashion-forward. Good music, chilled Prosecco, and a genuinely passionate small team.

Price Range: Made-to-order collection starts at £1,800 and goes up to £3,500.

Designers: Savannah Miller, Jesus Peiro, Rolling in Roses, Unbridled Studio

Appointment Style: Up to three guests included. Bridal appointments are 1 hour 45 minutes. Prosecco served. Photos are discouraged but not forbidden — they prefer brides stay present in the moment.

Pretty Woman

Location: Edinburgh

Price Range: High-end — Danielle Frankel ranges from £4,000–£12,000 other designers vary but similar. Not the boutique for budget-conscious brides.

Appointment Style: Completely private — the consultation lounge is exclusively for you and your guests during your appointment. Virtual appointments also available.
